Они рассказывают свои истории: как появилась зависимость, как пытались избавиться от нее, как перебрались в Германию, где получили заместительную терапию.

Русскоговорящие выходцы из бывших республик СССР, теперь они собираются по субботам в Берлине в помещении общества помощи ВИЧ-инфицированным и рассказывают друг другу, как прошла неделя.

Все они – носители ВИЧ и гепатита. Многие сидели – в основном, отделывались небольшими сроками. В прошлом у них — опыт унижения и предательства, ломки и передозировки, смерть друзей, криминал, разрыв отношений с близкими людьми, преследование со стороны властей, отсутствие должной медицинской помощи.

Пока никому из них не удалось полноценно встроиться в немецкое общество, некоторые, несмотря на заместительную терапию, до сих пор употребляют наркотики, кто-то живет на улице. Но многие стали волонтерами благотворительных проектов, стараются помочь другим наркопотребителям, и, кажется, впервые за долгое время, они начали мечтать о лучшей жизни.
